Something I always do when walking down the street, is that I would look up.
APRIL 17 18
Dover-Foxcroft, Maine
It was taken with a Samsung J5 that I got as a birthday gift - I'd held on to it for the longest time until my dad finally paid for a new one 3 years later. It had a great battery (which lasted for like, two days) and the camera was decent (I didn't really have high standards.)

After finishing high school in Maine, i moved to Canada and in with my aunt's family in Montreal. The Samsung is now very obviously becoming a relic of the past - its worn-out exterior and slow relay time really gave it away. I would always look back at my old pictures in the phone, mostly to delete them because I have limited storage, but I also have a habit to look back at my old memories - fragments of the past I have selectively chosen to keep after waves of editing. The phone was a relic of the past not only because physically, , but also from the content it holds, its identity a reflection of its essence.
Anyway, I did have fun with it, and one day I was trying on different filter presets on the picture. I didn't have Netflix in 2018-2019, so, this was the only substantial mean of entertainment I could use from my dear old phone. Here are some different variations of the picture:

I wonder if they still have presets like this, looking back at them it feels kinda impressive that they came out this interesting. I like to think that with an enough amount of boredom and creativity, you can make something interesting out of what's seemingly uninspriring at hand.
I hope this is enough for a landing page :)
